Test Engineer
a member of the Enterprise Test Organization the Test Engineer will be responsible for providing insight and test strategies to the IT organization including the following activities:
Lead the development of the Enterprise Test Strategy
Assist the development of each project's Test Strategy, Master Test Plan, and Detailed Test Plan
Develop Project Test Architecture (for different levels of test defined in the test strategy)
Develop Test approach maximizing test effectiveness across test phases while reducing test redundancy factoring in Code, Data, External Interface availability
Monitor and provide advice to the Test Team(s) during test preparation
Monitor and provide advice to the Test Team(s) during determination of test data requirements
Monitor and provide advice to the Test Team(s) during test execution and in defect analysis
Participate in preparation, execution, and scoring of Test Readiness Reviews (TRR)
Plans, executes and may manage quality assurance activities required for testing new software configurations and functionality before installation into the SunTrust production environment. Responsible for designing, validating testing. Provide leadership and consulting at various levels of complexity across the organization to ensure the successful delivery of defect free applications. Responsible for decisions which impact the costs, delivery schedule and quality of projects and programs across the enterprise. This position has significant impact on merger and acquisition success. Plan, execute and/or manage moderately complex quality assurance activities required for testing new software configurations and functionality before installation into the production environment. Plan the strategy for and manage enterprise-wide software release testing and implementation schedules. Manages defect tracking.
