Coordinates and oversees the annual operating planning process; identifies and investigates budget variances and related causes (budget control). Prepares quarterly forecasts. Prepares, analyzes and provides monthly management reports for the Executive Team with commentaries on company’s current financial position. Develops and implements enhancements to Group reporting systems; sets management reporting standards and champions reporting excellence. Supports budgeting for new projects and initiatives and evaluates impact on company’s financial position; actively supports an investment appraisal process. Supports restaurant operations in establishment and measurement of strategic goals as well as indentifying company’s focus areas. Contributes to ongoing development of management information systems that support analysis and decision-making; defines scope of management information needs. Provides planning, analysis and forecasting tools to all information users as appropriate; cooperates with restaurant operations to fully utilize system features. Ensures profitability analysis on all levels; identifies underperforming units (restaurant level) and initiates actions to bring them to a satisfactory level. Provides long-term financial and economic models facilitating evaluation of business opportunities on a fact basis. Creates complex models to support the goals of the brand.
