Information Secruity Analyst

Two openings. Atlanta only. With moderate supervision, this individual will conduct Information Security Control Assessments of SunTrust in-house managed applications, as well as those outsourced to third-party service providers. Responsible for assisting in offshore vendor risk assessments. Interacts with the various SunTrust Lines of Business, technical contacts and suppliers to complete the assessment work, communicate non-compliance issues, and assist as needed with the creation of remediation plans. This individual will also lead and/or participate in varied project assignments.

Requirements Minimum Requirements:
3 years experience in IT Audit and/or Enterprise Information Security, including the following:
- Knowledge of Banking Regulatory Environment and Information Technology General Control Processes
- Knowledge of Information Security industry standards/best practices
- Familiarity with key laws and regulations that impact Financial Institutions such as SOX and GLBA
- Strong Communication and Facilitation skills
- Strong Conflict management skills
- Strong Time Management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Must be analytical and detailed oriented
- Must be self-motivated and professionally assertive

Prefer:
- Bachelor’s degree in related focus
- Certification in related focus (e.g., CISA, CIA, CISSP).
- Understanding of different technologies (network, operating systems, databases, internet/intranet services, etc.)
