Systems Engineer

Description This role is responsible for the implementation/installation of Verint products at customer sites with a particular emphasis on our quality and VoIP-focused products. As part of the Professional Services Team, you will be working with both customers as well as other Verint personnel to deliver a successful implementation in a variety of technical environments. This includes working with customers to configure the network and telephony technical environments, installing, configuring, and integrating Verint software in the customer’s test and production environment, and performing various validation tests to confirm deployment completeness and operational readiness. You’ll also interface with the Project Manager to ensure issues are efficiently and effectively resolved in a timely fashion. Good customer facing skills as well as the ability to work in dynamic situations are important. Willingness to travel up to 80% in North America is required.

Requirements Requirements
5+ years of VoIP network/application deployment in Enterprise settings.
Weekly travel up to 80%.
3 years customer service experience and familiarity with Call Center business and/or workforce management is a plus.
Experience with the Ultra or Impact 360 product line is a plus.
Experience designing, developing, implementing and testing CTI driven Client / Server or Desktop solutions using structure development and programming techniques
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
Experience or background in programming, scripting languages as well as Oracle and SQL database experience is desired.
Knowledge of leading VoIP switches, including Cisco, I3, Nortel and Avaya etc.
Development experience in either real-time or telephony based systems
Software specific working knowledge required of the following: Microsoft Windows 3.1/95/NT, OS/2, Novell 3.11 and higher, DOS 4.0 and higher, Microsoft Office Suite, IPX/SPX, TCP/IP
Special consideration for MCSE or Formal Training with NORTEL, Aspect, Rockwell, or Lucent phone switches.
Experience working with voice and data networks in the capacity of design, implementation or project management.
TSPAI, Genesys, CallPath ,CT-Connect or other CTI experience definitely a plus.
